Here's the first page to my story for the next Panel anthology. We're all doing kids comics. To cleanse the pallete from the not-so kid friendly one we did in the fall. I've got it all scripted out. Suprizing myself as most of my strips dive into the obscenely wrong and or depressingly emo.

Happy birthday to my pal Kish. His birthday's tommorow. He's the guy in the green jacket to the right. The guy on the left is still standing outside on a ladder staring at me. No clue who he is but he's drawn to shiny lights.

I'm proud to announce the first volume of No Formula (Diamond Order Code: JUN083849) will be hitting the shelves in August from Desperado. Tony Goins and I have a story in it which originally ran on The Chemistry Set and also in Panel:Luck. You can read the official press release from the pals at the Chemistry Set.

Finally new-ish stuff I can post. The System got picked to be in a new anthology. Originally I had worked it up for a mini, soooo the dpi and format weren't really up to offset quality. I finished it in about four days and my hands are a little tired. Pretty happy I did. There were some minor drawing flaws that needed corrected so it all worked out. I might also reprint this in a future mini for filler.

I don't know when the anthology's coming out just yet. Wait and see.

I just had my first comics sale to a dude in Australia tonight. Sweet!

Nice interview with Rantz over at the newly revamped Comic Book Resources. I dig the new look. This is also the first time I've seen the cover which is pretty sharp (by Jason Levesque). Style sorta reminds me of a Tara McPherson meets Jamie Hewitt. Dig it.

Rantz talks up the new Comic Book Tattoo anthology, a Tori Amos comics anthology set to hit the shops in the summer. Of which I'm still cranking away on my story for it. I'm pretty far along if Rantz happens to be reading this. Still on track for finishing this by the deadline.
